CURRENT OPPORTUNITIES
We're seeking a senior level Electrical Designer/Engineer for our Albany office. The ideal candidate must have 10 or more years of experience with electrical systems design, possess a Bachelor of Engineering or a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and be licensed in New York State or have the ability to become licensed within 1 year. A specialty in telecommunications, fire alarm, emergency power systems, photovoltaic systems, and/or lighting system design is a plus. Other desirable abilities include:
Building inspections (electrical)
Construction Specification development
Construction administration (submittals RFIs)
Communication skills with construction teams
Technical report writing
Design development of K-12, college/university and corporate office market segments
The ability to lead projects, work closely with clients and mentor staff is important. Experience working collaboratively with architects or directly in an A/E office is preferred. (EOE)
