CSArch Announces Employee Promotions


CSArch is proud to announce the promotions of several employees in recognition of their growth and contributions to the firm.

“We are thrilled to recognize these four individuals for their unwavering commitment and dedication to excellence at CSArch. The past year has been challenging for many, and our people have continued to demonstrate CSArch’s values for client relationships and quality work,” said CSArch President, Daniel Woodside.

Erica Exner
Promoted to Associate, Executive Assistant
With CSArch since 2017, Erica Exner was promoted to Associate, Executive Assistant in recognition of her continued dedication to the firm and increased responsibilities in various departments at CSArch. Erica played a critical role in ensuring a safe and seamless return to work amidst the COVID-19 pandemic. She regularly assists project teams in specifications for NYSED, ensuring deadlines are met and documentation is accurate. Erica also provides support to our finance and human resources departments and helps drive new technology and processes throughout the entire firm.

Ken Hopeck
Promoted to Associate
An Electrical Design Engineer with the firm since 2019, Ken Hopeck was promoted to Associate. Prior to joining CSArch, Ken was employed by a firm with whom CSArch regularly consulted. His depth of experience and knowledge in electrical and lighting system design has made him an integral member of our MEP Engineering team. Ken’s expertise has contributed to successful K-12, Higher Education, and Civic/Institutional project work with Ichabod Crane CSD, Capital Repertory Theatre, Guilderland CSD, Coxsackie-Athens CSD, and University at Albany.   

Bill Pennock
Promoted to Principal
Bill Pennock is an experienced Project Manager at CSArch and was promoted to Principal in recognition of his strong client relations and leadership qualities and expertise in the planning, design, and construction of higher education and K-12 facilities. Bill has been instrumental in advancing the firm’s efforts in the higher education market and has contributed to successful projects at Utica College, SUNY New Paltz, SUNY Oneonta, Binghamton University, and Herkimer College. He is a member of the Leadership Tech Valley Class of 2021 and an active member of the firm's CANstruction team.

Michael Andrews
Promoted to Managing Principal
A devoted employee with CSArch since 1997, Michael Andrews has been promoted to Managing Principal. In addition to his role as a Project Manager on several of CSArch’s most notable projects, Michael has taken a larger role in the firm’s technology, administrative, and quality assurance initiatives and is a trusted colleague and mentor among CSArch staff. He constantly represents the firm’s value for top quality work and is appreciated for his technical expertise and project management with K-12 clients including North Colonie CSD, Gloversville Enlarged SD, Guilderland CSD, and Mohonasen CSD.
