CSArch Announces 2023 Principal Promotions

We are excited to announce the promotions of two deserving individuals in recognition of their leadership, growth, and commitment to the highest quality work at CSArch.

Paul Nickerson
Promoted to Principal

“Paul has a strong drive toward reaching excellence on projects, consistently dedicating the effort required to get projects completed while showing tremendous empathy and patience for the people he works with,” said Daniel Woodside, President at CSArch. “These traits really align with our values and culture, and, because of that, we are proud to promote Paul to Principal.”

A 1998 graduate of Roger Williams University, Paul joined the firm in 2000 and has developed into a trusted Senior Project Architect, mentor to younger staff, and champion of CSArch’s values for client relationships and high-quality design. He is recognized as a firm-wide resource for his expertise in technical proficiency, code compliance, and project procedures. Paul has played a critical role on projects at Broadalbin-Perth CSD, Pawling CSD, and SUNY Adirondack, and has helped maintain key long-term relationships with clients including Watervliet CSD.

Melissa Renkawitz
Promoted to Principal

“I have the honor of introducing Melissa as our newest Principal at CSArch,” says Richard Peckham, CEO at CSArch. “Since she joined the firm, Melissa has become a key person in getting repeat work with some of our oldest clients.”

A Senior Building Designer with CSArch since 2003, Melissa is continuously praised by clients for her ability to translate needs, issues, and goals into design solutions that exceed expectations. Over the past several years, Melissa has taken on increased project leadership responsibilities, contributing to successful work with Coxsackie-Athens CSD, Ichabod Crane CSD, Menands UFSD, and Guilderland CSD. As her experience has grown, Melissa has focused her expertise on educational programming and is working toward becoming a certified educational planner. In addition to her project commitments, Melissa is actively involved in community, people, and strategic planning initiatives within the firm.
