CSArch Announces Staff Promotions

CSArch is proud to announce the promotions of five employees in recognition of their growth and contributions to the firm.

“These individuals have exhibited exceptional performance and have helped the company improve our effectiveness in several areas of our practice,” said CSArch President, Daniel Woodside, AIA LEED AP.

Volker Husel, AIA

Promoted to Senior Associate

As the BIM Manager at CSArch, Volker Husel was promoted to Senior Associate in recognition of his leadership in advancing the firm’s adoption of Building Information Modeling, challenging the firm to be more efficient and approach things in new ways. In his role, he implements modern technologies and develops processes to foster improved collaboration and information exchange. Husel became a licensed architect in December 2018.

Zachary Malison, PE

Promoted to Senior Associate

A mechanical engineer who’s been with the firm since October 2010, Zachary Malison was promoted to Senior Associate. Malison is responsible for designing multi-faceted and comprehensive building systems for the firm’s educational and corporate clients. He consistently represents CSArch’s value for top quality client service and is appreciated by clients, partners, and colleagues alike for his technical expertise and passion for our work.

Ashley Sheehan, NCIDQ, IIDA

Promoted to Associate

Ashley Sheehan joined CSArch in April 2016 as an interior designer responsible for assisting with the development of design solutions, researching and selecting colors, finishes, and materials, and performing site surveys and maintaining resource materials. In June 2018, Ashley became NCIDQ certified, an industry-recognized indicator of proficiency in interior design principles.

Paul Garrison

Promoted to Associate

Serving as the firm’s comptroller for 7 years, Paul is responsible for overseeing CSArch’s business office. During his time at the firm, he has taken on increased responsibility and recently transitioned from a part-time to full-time role.

Erin Fisher-Root

Promoted to Marketing Coordinator

Erin Fisher-Root started at CSArch as a marketing administrative assistant and was promoted to marketing coordinator. A highly focused marketer, she has a passion for creative excellence, organization, and productivity and has become increasingly responsible for the firm’s events, sponsorships, social media, and proposal development.
