BASEBALL STADIUM COMPLEX

Made possible by the largest donation in the college's history, the new 84,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art baseball stadium and field house at Binghamton University stands among the top Division I athletic facilities in the country.

When it's completed, the new university baseball stadium complex and training facility will rival any complex in the NCAA.”

Stadium Upgrades

To enhance the overall spectator experience, improvements include a new stadium entry, boardwalk, concessions, team store, and expanded stadium and terraced seating.

Player Lounge

Located in the new field house, the player lounge is a double height space featuring a seating area, full kitchen, and fitness center that can be easily closed off to the rest of the space. The lounge provides full views into the indoor batting tunnel, allows athletes to watch batting practices from a protected area.

Team and Training Facilities

Adjacent to the player lounge are the state-of-the-art team locker room and athletic therapy rooms with hydrotherapy treatment pools.

Team Support

To further support student athletes and provide additional meeting space, the second floor of the field house includes a student study space and a multi-purpose team meeting room overlooking the field.

Coach and Staff Support

The second floor of the field house features a staff lounge, coaches' offices, and conference rooms with electronic wall glazing for increased privacy.

Hospitality Suite

Constructed behind home base, a new hospitality suite features a VIP lounge, press box, and viewing rooms. Recording and production rooms allow for enhanced media coverage and boost recruitment efforts.

Project Scope

Working in collaboration with Fawley Bryant Architecture and LeChase Construction Services, CSArch has been engaged as the Architect-of-Record since 2018 to see this anticipated project to completion. The $60 million baseball stadium complex will meet NCAA requirements for hosting post-season tournament play, enhance recruitment efforts, and provide athletes and coaching staff with facilities that stand among the top Division I stadiums in the country.

Phase 2 of the project will construct a multi-sport indoor training facility behind the new field house that seamlessly connects to the Phase 1 construction and provides a dynamic space for use by multiple sports.
